What is BVAC's refund policy?
NO REFUNDS.
Refunds may only be given in case of an injury which prohibits the player from participating in their sport. A doctors note prohibiting participation will be required by BVAC before a refund will be issued. A $15 administration fee and the $20 shirt fee will be deducted from the refunded amount.
What does my sport fee pay for?
BVAC does not receive any funds from the city, taxes, or any other organization. All fees are put back into the programs or used to maintain grounds and facilities. The following is a brief list of expenses that your fees are used to cover: field maintenance which includes-sod, watering, aeration, fertilizer, mowing, soccer goals/nets, operating expenses-lights, trash disposal, team shirts, officials, web presence, office hours(we are open 5 days a week), insurance, and janitorial services.
How are teams formed?
Teams are formed by grade, friend and/or coach request. BVAC reserves the right to change or remove any players/coaches from all teams.
How are coaches selected?
All coaches of BVAC teams are volunteers. All coaches are given background checks. We do not require any kind of certification to coach our recreational teams.
When will participants be contacted?
All participants will be contacted by their coach after the coaches meeting. Coaches will pass along information regarding pictures, practices, and game schedules. Participants are encouraged to call their coach or check the website for information in case of practice or game cancellations.
How are practices set up?
Coaches select a practice slot from a list of practice times and locations.
